Inter alia, the People´s Deputies discussed organizational issues concerning elaboration of Bills on amendments to several legislative acts as regards liability for corruption violations (Reg. No.0875), principles of preventing and fighting corruption (Reg. No.0876), liability of legal entities for corruption violations (Reg. No.0877).
Thus, the Bill on amendments to several legislative acts regarding liability for corruption violations (Reg. No. 0875) introduces 19 amendments to the Criminal Code, 2 to the Procedural Criminal Code and 22 amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements.
The attendants of the meeting received expert judgements concerning the Bills, rendered by the leaders of the Programme of Assistance to the Parliament of Ukraine, and the Millennium Challenge Threshold Program concerning reduction of corruption level and the Project "Support of Proper Government: Anti-Corruption Project in Ukraine" (UPAC) that is being implemented in Ukraine by the Council of Europe and the European Commission.
